Description: Inlaid and glazed floor, wall or hearth tile with makers marks and sixteen stabbed holes to the rear.

 

Design: British Museum attribution to John Pollard Seddon. Ordinal cross containing floral elements in the Indo-Persian style and with white six-petal floret at centre.

 

Colours: Dark brown, white and buff.

 

Dimensions: 6" x 6" x 1/2" (155 mm x 155 mm x 13 mm)

 

Condition: Nibbles and surface marks (see photos).
