Type: Glazed relief-moulded (majolica) clay tile of sandwich construction.

 

Description: Glazed wall, furniture or fireplace tile in the neo-medieval, gothic revival style with maker's marks and twenty-five stabbed holes to the rear.

 

Design: Cardinal Cross Fleury in a quatrefoil set in a circle with a border of florets and with foliate corners. Designed by A. W. N. Pugin.

 

Colours: Red, green, blue, yellow and white.

 

Dimensions: 6" x 6" x 5/8" (150 mm x 150 mm x 15 mm)

 

Condition:  Good with no chips or nibbles (see photos).
