Type: Encaustic plastic clay tile.
 
Description: Glazed tile of sandwich construction with maker's marks and sixteen stabbed holes to the verso.
 
Design: Two snowdrops or fuchsia flowers of stylised, fleur de lys form set in an octagram (eight-pointed star, often called the Khatim Sulayman (Seal of Solomon or Rub el Hizb) within a circle interspersed with buds and florets in circles. 
 
Colours: Dark and light brown, green, white and buff.
 
Dimensions: 6" x 6" x 5/8" (154 mm x 154 mm x 17 mm)
 
Condition: Two corners are chipped also other chips and nibbles (see photos).
