Description: Seven encaustic floor tiles with a repeating pattern and with maker's marks. One has a date stamp for 1865, another for 1861, to the verso.
 
Design: Cardinal foliate cross within an array of interlocking arcs.
 
Colours: Blue, red, brown, white and buff.
 
Dimensions: 6" x 6" x 1" (150 mm x 150 mm x 25 mm)
 
Condition: Poor with damaged areas also chips, nibbles, surface marks, discolouration and much mortar adhering.
