Type: Inlaid and lead glazed terracotta clay tile.
 
Description: Decorated floor tile of neo-medieval design with sixteen stabbed holes to the rear. From the Hans van Lemmen Collection.
 
Design: Central 8 petal flower within intersecting, ordinal lenses (vesica piscis) with dots in the spandrels.
 
Colours: Terracotta red and yelllow/buff.
 
Dimensions: 6" x 6" x 1/2" (151 mm x 151 mm x 13 mm)
 
Condition: Nibbles and some loss of glaze possibly due to over cleaning (see photos).
