Type: Relief moulded and glazed pressed-dust wall or hearth tile.
 
Description: Majolica tile with a stylised floral design and with makers marks to the verso.
 
Design: Ordinal floral cross around the central letter 'H' with florets in the lobes and leaves in the corners. This tile previously formed part of the wall decoration at the Minton Hollins factory, Stoke-on-Trent and is a tribute to the proprietor, Michael Daintree Hollins.
 
Colours: Blue (lilac),  mid-green, pale green, brown, pink, orange and white.
 
Dimensions: 6" x 6" x 1/2" (150 mm x 150 mm x 11 mm)
 
Condition: Good with some speckles to the glaze (see photos).
