Type: Encaustic, terracotta clay tile of sandwich construction.
 
Description: Floor tile with a repeating pattern in neo-medieval, gothic revival style and with maker's marks and 20 stabbed holes to rear.
 
Design: A repeating pattern of a cardinal, floral cross in a quatrefoil with central floret and between borders of florets.
 
Colours: White, dark brown, buff and terracotta red.
 
Dimensions: 6" x 6" x 1" (152 mm x 152 mm x 23 mm)
 
Condition: Poor with chips/nibbles also surface marks and disccolouration and with some mortar adhereing (see photos).
