Type: Inlaid encaustic clay tile of sandwich construction.
 
Description: Decorated floor tile from a panel of four in neo-medieval style with maker's marks and 25 stabbed holes to the rear. From the Hans van Lemmen Collection.
 
Design: From a four tile panel forming a foliate cross in a inner cardinal quatrefoil within a larger sedcafoil with fleurs de lys and with foliate spandrels and floret border.
 
Colours: Terracotta red, blue and buff.
 
Dimensions: 6" x 6" x 1" (154 mm x 154 mm x 24 mm)
