Type: Glazed and relief-moulded, plastic clay tile.

Description: 8 ins x 8 ins majolica wall or fireplace tile with stylised floral decoration.

Design: Stylised flowers and buds within a diamond with geometric shapes between borders of dotted roads. Attributed to Dr, Christopher Dresser.

Colours: Pale blue, dark blue, green, white, red and yellow.

Dimensions (per tile): 7 3/4" x 7 3/4" x 3/8" (196 mm x 196 mm x 10 mm)

Condition: Good but with mortar adhering to verso and obscuring makers marks (see photos).
