Type: Encaustic, terracotta clay tile of sandwich construction.
 
Description: Corner or quarter-panel floor tile in neo-medieval, gothic revival style and with maker's marks and 25 stabbed holes to rear.
 
Design: A fruiting, scrolling vine in a banded foil forming one quarter of a larger design.
 
Colours: Buff, brown and blue.
 
Dimensions: 6" x 6" x 1" (152 mm x 152 mm x 23 mm)
 
Condition: Poor with one chipped corner, surface marks, discolouration and with some mortar adhereing (see photos).
