Type: Inlaid plastic clay floor tile.
 
Description: Encaustic tile with an ecclesiastical design with impressed makers marks, and twenty-five stabbed holes to the verso.
 
Design: Cardinal cross with trefoil terminals, each filled with a symbol of an Apostle, with smaller fleur-de-lys ordinals, all within a circle and with quarter circles at the corners.
 
Colours: Terracotta red and buff.
 
Dimensions: 5 11/16th" x 5 11/16th" x 7/8th" (147 mm x 147 mm x 23 mm)
 
Condition: Good with nibbles and some mortar adhering to edges (see photos).
