Description: Slip inlaid encaustic tile in the neo-medieval, gothic revival style with maker's marks and stabbed holes to the rear.
 
Design: Floral cross in circles with florets at the corners. Attributed to A. W. N. Pugin.
 
Colours: Black and buff.
 
Dimensions: 6" x 6" x 1" (150 mm x 150 mm x 25 mm)
 
Condition: Partial crack, chips, nibbles and surface marks (see photos).
