Type: Inlaid encaustic clay tile of sandwich construction.
 
Description: Decorated floor tile in neo-medieval style with maker's marks and date stamp and 25 stabbed holes to the rear. From the Hans van Lemmen Collection.
 
Design: Fleur de lys in a shape formed by the intersectiion of an ordinal quatrefoil with foliate spandrels and a rotated square and with other foliate elements in the corners/edges.
 
Colours: Terracotta red and buff.
 
Dimensions: 6" x 6" x 1" (150 mm x 150 mm x 25 mm)
