Type: Earthenware red tile inlaid with buff clay with stabbed holes to reverse.

 

Description: Inlaid encaustic tile designed by A.W.N. Pugin. 

 

Design:  Three wheatsheaves with a border and fleur-de-lis. Attributed to A. W. N. Pugin.

 

Colours: Buff and terracotta red.

 

Dimensions: 6" x 6" x 3/4" (150 mm x 150 mm x 21 mm)

 

Condition: Fair. Some chips and scrapes to the surface and some evidence of restoration (see photos).
