Type: Inlaid and glazed pressed dust tile.

 

Description: Decorated floor tile with a repeating pattern and makers marks to verso. This tile has 'ears' (the top edge is irregular) as it was cast as the edge of a row or border. Please note that it has NOT been cut down - it was made in this unusual shape.

 

Design: Central 8-petal flower in a dotted border with half florets at three sides.

 

Colours: Terracotta red, cream and blue.

 

Dimensions: 4 1/8 " x 4 1/16" x 3/4" (106 mm x 104 mm x 20 mm)

 

Condition: Good (see photos).
