Description: Slip inlaid encaustic tile in the neo-medieval, gothic revival style with maker's marks and twenty stabbed holes to the rear.
 
Design: Cross with trefoil cardinals and leaf ordinals set within a border of florets.
 
Colours: Red, black and terracotta red.
 
Dimensions: 6" x 6" x 1/2" (150 mm x 150 mm x 13 mm)
 
Condition: Some discolouration of the surface generally and with nibbled edges in one corner (see photos).
