Type: Relief moulded and glazed (enamelled) pressed dust wall tile.
 
Description: Majolica tile with a stylised flower design and with makers marks to the verso.
 
Design: Repeating design with a cardinal floral cross in a quatrefoil with quarter florets at the corners. After a design by A.W.N. Pugin.
 
Colours: Dark blue, lavender, red, yellow, pale green, dark green and white.
 
Dimensions: 5 7/8" x 5 7/8" x 1/2" (150 mm x 150 mm x 13 mm)
 
Condition: Chips and nibbles. One corner has been glued. Some loss to the surface and small spots of enamel missing. Also some evidence of firing faults resulting in losses to the enamel in the dark blue central petals (see photos).
