Description: An encaustic clay floor tile in neo-Gothic style with maker's marks and sixteen stabbed holes to rear. From the Roger Hensman Collection (Cat# M43).
Design: Armorial/heraldic shield with six Crosses Bottony and a white diagonal stripe and with foliate tendrils to the lower spandrels.
Colours: Terracotta red, white and buff.
Dimensions: 5" x 5" x 1/2" (128 mm x 128 mm x 13 mm)
