Type: Inlaid 'sandwich' construction with 20 circular stabbed holes.

Description: Multicoloured encaustic tile with a Gothic Revival floral motif in the style of Pugin. Faint imprint of design on rear.

Design: Tudor rose in a cardinal quatrefoil with trefoils and leaf spandrels.

Colours: White, blue, terracotta red and buff.

Dimensions: 6" x 6" x 1/2" (150 mm x 150 mm x 12 mm)

Condition: This tile has been broken in two pieces and repaired with glue (see photos).
