Type: Inlaid clay floor tiles of sandwich construction.
 
Description: Decorated floor tiles of neo-medieval design with twe nty-fivestabbed holes and maker's marks to the rear.
 
Design: Cardinal foliate cross in a quatrefoil within a border of foils with trefoil buds and foliate spandrels.
 
Colours: Terracotta red, blue, black and buff.
 
Dimensions: 6" x 6" x 1" (152 mm x 52 mm x 24 mm)
 
Condition: Chips, nibbles and surface marks on most. One tile has been broken in two pieces and reglued others have broken corners and surface marks, another has a circular drilled hole (see photos).
