Type: Salt-glazed terracotta plastic clay tiles.
 
Description: Two salt-glazed tiles from a panel of four with typical 'orange-peel' glaze.
 
Design: Twenty-four pointed sun or star in a circle of seven-pointed stars with crescent moons and with foliate spandrels.
 
Colours: Terracotta red and buff.
 
Dimensions: 4 1/16" x 4 1/16" x 1/2" (105 mm x 105 mm x 12 mm)
 
Condition: One tile has been broken and repaired (glued). Chips and nibbles to the other (see photos).
